Omega Centauri or NGC 5139 is a globular cluster seen in the constellation of Centaurus. It orbits our galaxy and is located about 15,800 light-years from Earth and contains several million stars.

 Taken on a CENTRAL DSLR Canon 40d thru a 152mm f8 four element " INTANE OPTICS" Super APO refractor.

Takahashi NJP Temma II mount and The Sky Six Pro. Autoguider is DSI Pro and Mitsuboshi Off Axis Guider thanks to PHD and Shoe String Astro.

No filters apart from LP front filter. 6 x 10 minute exposures at 800ASA.
