NGC3324 and star cluster NGC 3293: NGC3324 (Looks like a Galactic soldier) is at the northwest corner of the Carina Nebula (NGC 3372), home of the Keyhole Nebula and the active, outbursting star Eta Carinae. The entire Carina Nebula complex is located at a distance of roughly 7,200 light-years, and lies in the constellation Carina.
NGC3293 is approximately 8,000 light years from earth.
Taken thru a CENTRAL DSLR Canon 40d (no Cooling) thru a 152mm f8 four element "INTANE OPTICS" Super APO refractor.
Takahashi NJP Temma II mount and The Sky Six Pro. Autoguider is DSI Pro and Mitsuboshi Off Axis Guider thanks to PHD and Shoe String Astro.
No filters apart from LP filter. 10 x 10 minute exposures at 800ASA.
