NGC253 also known as the Sculptor Galaxy or silver coin Galaxy is the brightest member of the Sculptor Group of galaxies in the constellation Sculptor.
It is 70,000 light years across and approximately 10 million light years from earth.
Taken on a CENTRAL DSLR Canon40d cooled thru a 152mm f8 four element " INTANE OPTICS" Super APO refractor.
Takahashi NJP Temma II mount and The Sky Six Pro. Autoguider is DSI Pro and Mitsuboshi Off Axis Guider thanks to PHD and Shoe String Astro.
No filters apart from LP front filter. 5 x 15 minute exposures at 800ASA.
