Horse Head Nebula. also known as Barnard 33 and IC 434 is a dark nebula in the constellation Orion. The nebula is located just below Alnitak, the star farthest left on Orion's Belt, and is part of the much larger Orion Molecular Cloud Complex. It is approximately 1500 light years from Earth.
Taken on a home moded Canon20d thru a 152mm f8 four element " INTANE OPTICS" Super APO refractor.
Takahashi NJP Temma II mount and The Sky Six Pro. Autoguider is DSI Pro and Mitsuboshi Off Axis Guider thanks to PHD and Shoe String Astro.
No filters apart from LP front filter. 6 x 10 minute exposures at 800ASA.
